ALICE® DECLASS™ is a rapidly deployable cloud-native application within our ALICE® suite of digital accelerators. ALICE® DECLASS™ supports declassification, redaction, and many other native and extremal tools for data extraction and metadata enrichment. It also delivers context-based annotation (automated and manual) for redaction justifications and access to user guidance. ALICE® DECLASS™ easily integrates into other enterprise workflow/case management solutions, and it is configurable between 0% to 100% human-in-the-loop automation based on confidence algorithms and statistical sampling.

Use Case: The JFK Files

It’s crucial to understand the contents of all forms of data and ensure that proper safeguards are in place when it’s released.

ALICE® DECLASS™ leverages hundreds of individual intelligent agents, each with their own specialty, to build consensus redaction recommendations based on rules, context-aware NLP, ANNs, CNNs, LLMs, and a Neural AI Executive (ALICE® NAIX™) to make them all get along.

The ALICE® R&D Team processed the publicly available JFK records (https://lnkd.in/epwk4Kax). 

The JFK files provided us with a timely, public test case to showcase what ALICE® can do. Using out-of-the-box configuration, we ran the data through the ALICE® DECLASS™ AI “Fuzzy” Redaction logic with no special configuration and no additional ML training or configuration, and as expected, it was fast and highly effective.  Our tools reviewed 65,000 pages… 10s of thousands of unique objects… thousands of individual files… and the results are in.

ALICE® DECLASS™ is a human supervised AI enabled declassification automation engine where the agency decides the level of human involvement. It is readily customizable and extendable to the redaction declassification and redaction needs of any agency, integrating with existing tools and infrastructure.
