What is ALICE® MissionX™?

ALICE® MissionX™ is Brillient’s flagship solution for accelerating mission execution through seamless data integration, AI-enabled processing, and rules-driven automation, all governed by human oversight. It combines machine learning, natural language processing, and robotic process automation (RPA) with embedded checkpoints for human validation and exception handling.

How it Works

Data Integration

ALICE® MissionX™ ingests structured and unstructured data from diverse sources — documents, forms, databases, and APIs — using AI-enabled data capture and normalization techniques.

Cognitive Processing

The system interprets, extracts, and contextualizes data using advanced AI models trained for mission-specific tasks. Information is then organized, analyzed, and prepared for decision-making.

Business rules and workflow automation

Mission logic and policy-based rules are applied in real time. Tasks are executed at machine speed, while edge cases are routed to human analysts via intuitive interfaces.

ALICE® MissionX™ uses human-in-the-loop oversight. This built-in governance ensures that critical decisions include human review when required. Subject-matter experts validate AI outputs, resolve exceptions, and train the system to improve continuously.

Use Case 1: Immigration

Brillient developed a solution incorporating ALICE® digitalization and intelligent document processing (IDP) of paper records, AI-enabled name harvesting, integration with ELIS to conduct national background checks, and human-in-the-loop automation.

Key Benefits to the client:

  • 99% accuracy level, compared to ~70% for manual processing.
  • Three times (3x) productivity in cases processed per hour (compared with manual processing).
  • Significant reduction in manual labor and cost, accelerated processing, and enhanced national security.

Use Case 2: Processing Gift Tax Returns

Our federal client is responsible for processing the many different tax return forms used by the federal government. Form 709 deals with taxes paid on gifts and generation-skipping transfers.

Brillient was tasked with digitizing and extracting critical information from these documents. Using our ALICE® accelerators, the client can process thousands of tax forms daily with no human interaction. Key information is extracted using AI from these long and complex forms, allowing for integration into other IRS systems.

Key Benefits to the client:

  • Productivity, speed, and cost savings: Over 4,000 form 709s and associated documents are processed daily with no human touch, dramatically reducing processing costs and timelines.
  • Search and retrieval: Information from the forms is indexed and can be searched, making it much faster and more efficient to find specific information.
  • Storage cost elimination: Storing documents digitally long-term reduces costs associated with physical storage solutions, such as storing forms in caves or other secure facilities and maintaining those spaces (e.g., climate control, security).

Use Case 3: Global 1000 mfr. HR Transformation

Our commercial client, a $3 Bn “Global 1000” manufacturer, has Human Resource (HR) offices in over 100 countries supported by geographically specific HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Brillient implemented  a solution incorporating ALICE® Digital Records and Information Management as a Service (DRIMaaS). This solution integrated with the existing HRIS, and organized employee data into a comprehensive, intuitive, and robustly searchable employee dossier.
